kosuke akane was born to self-centered parents in a small, unnamed village. her parents quickly grew resentful of their newfound responsibility, bitterness replacing the charm of parenthood and only subsiding as she blossomed. as the years passed, she often drew unwanted attention from those around her and her parents eagerly entertained the idea of an arranged marriage, even considering disreputable suitors despite her vehement protests. her defiance waned over time until it was finally extinguished.their village rarely saw permanent residents and primarily served as a traveler's respite, exposing its inhabitants to a diverse array of people and their beliefs. word of paradise faith to eventually reached them and the prospect of being in the presence of 'the blessed one', dōma, enticed them into packing up and relocating . they immediately fell into a state fanaticism with akane's mother becoming especially devout . to her, there was no other being that walked the earth that could possibly compare to him.
